Knowledge Engineer, SME Innovation Lead

Job Description: Duties of the position will include the identification and evaluation of current and emerging GOTS and COTS software technologies used in the intelligence community for inclusion in a-space. The knowledge engineer must be able to see strategic innovation and integration between data and software to develop solutions that support improved intelligence analysis. Services oriented architecture, advanced data re-use, and experience with collaborative technologies are all desired areas of expertise. The knowledge engineer will assist in the strategy and design of web services and solutions the intelligence community to create the first version of a-space.

A-space functionality may include: Common analytical workspace for intelligence analysts, robust sets of tools, services to conduct analytic functions, design cues, social networking, wiki's, blogs, discussion forums, data mash-ups and other online communication. Some example mash ups include library of national intelligence, google earth, and other advanced visualization and data manipulation technologies.

Candidate must be able to provide analytic expertise and technology integration ideas to teams working information technology and knowledge engineering related items for the intelligence community.

Candidates should be innovative, self-motivated, problem solving, critical thinking, solid written and oral communications skills, detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, and having a strong positive attitude for working in a team environment.

TS/SCI clearance required. Applicants selected subject to government security investigation and must continue to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Oracle Database Administrator

These individuals should be adept at installing, configuring, tuning, monitoring, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting Oracle 8i and 9i databases in enterprise environments. Candidates should be skilled at maintaining development, testing, and deployment database instances for development, test and production environments. Ideally we are looking for individuals with at least 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. Consultants are required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical and business problems/issues in a non-technical manner.

Computer Forensic Examiner

DDK Computer Forensic Examiners have widely varying backgrounds. Some were agents for the U.S. Air Force OSI or other service branches, while others worked at the White Collar Crime Lab, or the Department of Defense Computer Forensics Lab. We also welcome applicants who have commercial experience. Ideally we are looking for candidates with 5 years of hard drive forensics and network log analysis experience. Also desirable is 5 years of network security experience, with emphasis on intrusion techniques and intrusion detection, systems testing and analysis. Consultants may be required to work with NID/JID machines, and to assist clients in understanding and managing these machines, as well as training clients in conducting computer forensic examinations. Our consultants are frequently required to analyze and test new network monitoring technologies and network-based investigative tools. Our investigators have experience with tools such as ILOOK, ENCASE, and FTK. Frequent worldwide or national travel and security clearances are often required.

Cyber Intelligence Analyst

These positions require intelligence analysis and production tasks related to counterintelligence and/or computer investigations and operations. Experience in counterterrorism and/or counterintelligence analysis is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical. Experience in providing analytical support for cyber investigations, working with link analysis tools, analyzing network logs, and interacting with databases is highly desirable. A basic knowledge of computer and network security principles is important. A Top Secret security clearance and Bachelors Degree are required. Locations are worldwide.
